Again, we're back to the slight of hand you do when you want to dance around the fact that you use the media to your advantage when it suits you and trash it when it doesn't. "Let's believe the better story" is a nonsensical, purposely vague piece of bullshit. Who is the "us" here? Here, in Yashar Ali, we have the very definition of a mainstream reporter, reporting on a story that debunks a story that has been swirling in the cesspool of Twitter (a place you sometimes consider media and sometimes don't) and this is then used to ... imply that people (us?) believed this story and were spreading it around as fact. Who is the us? It's not said. Who is the media who has spread this story around? It's not said. All we know is that you are using mainstream media to ... discredit media.

Did a moderator really beg @YankeeFan to come back here? I want to know if that's real or fake news.

Red herring. He got the Ban Hammer of Forever from the Winnebago owners board.

DO NOT mention the Ban Hammer of Forever.

If you do Ragu will get very upset, and might ban YOU forever.

If he was willing to ban @Dick Whitman forever for making such a joke -- and he was -- then we're all at risk.

"Sad that he wrote a long article, and instead of laughing at all that he got wrong, folks want to give him partial credit for what he may have gotten right."

Yeah, it is sad that when he writes a long article about all the evidence that our President is at minimum influenced by Russia and at worst operating in fear of what they might reveal about him, that people disagree with some of his points and assumptions... but that most people think that Chait is in the ballpark and that at least some of it is true.

Doesn't look like that Blue Wave is going to show up.

Dems trailing in several seats they need to hold if they're going to take back the Senate.

Let's set the record straight. Dick repeated that 'joke' over and over and over.
I'm not privy to all of the intelligence, but I saw Dick like a broken record talking about the mods (Ragu).

    Same with Starman.

Papa John's Founder Allegedly Used N-Word On Conference Call

On the May call, Schnatter was asked how he would distance himself from racist groups online. He responded by downplaying the significance of his NFL statement. “Colonel Sanders called blacks n-----s,” Schnatter allegedly said, before complaining that Sanders never faced public backlash.

Schnatter also reflected on his early life in Indiana, where, he said, people used to drag African-Americans from trucks until they died. He apparently intended for the remarks to convey his antipathy to racism, but multiple individuals on the call found them to be offensive, the source said. After learning about the incident, Laundry Service owner Casey Wasserman moved to terminate the company’s contract with Papa John’s.

Asked to comment further, Whitman Schnatter said: "Hey, we're all adults here."

    It's not the mods, it's a mod.

I am sure there are openings for the Mod position, for all of you who like to complain (endlessly). Not sure the pay is all that good.

Ragu may appear draconian to most here, but he certainly seems consistent, and he does give a rope. Nobody is heaved after their first mishap.
