I guess I need to look at it from a non-crazy fan standpoint. Most fans didn't watch him in NXT, so they haven't seen his growth. We (the fans who follow a lot of the non-WWE main show stuff) want to see the NXT guys brought up and turned into main eventers right away, but they still have to show what they can do on the main roster. Some have done great. Others have fizzled. I can see why the WWE takes it slow with a lot of them. And unlike a lot of NXT guys, McIntyre has to overcome a past run in the WWE that wasn't spectacular, so it does make sense to see what kind of fan reaction he gets.

That's one important factor. Sometimes it seems like NXT is a major brand, when in reality, it's like Triple-A in baseball. We expect the Triple-A stars to dominate once they get called up to the majors/main roster. Like in case all, not all of them pan out.

I just think he has it all, and to be honest I was underwhelmed by his NXT run, largely. He was fine but I certainly didn't look forward to his title matches the way I have with others on the brand. He was a little and too polished.

He's gigantic and he's intense, a great potential heel and a great potential foil for a guy like Reigns. 2-3 weeks ago during the first Rollins/Reigns tag vs. Ziggler there was a little moment when he looked at Roman and I said to myself "that is money"

You could argue Sheamus and Barrett had the same size and intensity and never really panned out into the mega stars they should've been so we'll see.....McIntyre just looks to me like a guy who should float around the top 10 ro so in the company for 15 years.

McIntyre could be the next Randy Orton-type of guy -- a wrestler who isn't going to carry the company (though at one point they thought Orton would), but he can be thrown in the world title mix any time you need him and he can hold a good feud without the belt involved when he's not chasing it. He's panning out into something at least close to what they thought he'd be on his first run.

Any of you watching BE THE ELITE on youtube?

The stuff they're doing with the Joey Ryan skits ... I don't know how they actually keep a straight face for most of this.

Everybody knows Drew McIntyre's return will be a waste until they bring the band back together! #3MBForever

Damn. When was the last time a wrestling company NOT owned by a McMahon ran MSG?

Must have been some pressure on MSG to allow them in - The word was that WWE was trying like hell to block them from booking the building.

HHH will try to crush that show, either by putting on the best Takeover ever 5 miles up the road or by signing away Kenny and the Bucks before it happens. Word is their contracts are up early next year.

I dont blame MSG for being pissed about being left out of the Mania festivities. I dont know how big a risk it is for ROH. Its Mania, theres at least 80000 wrestling fans around on Saturday looking for something to do, only 15000 of em can go to NXT, so even if the Bullett Club goes they should be able to sell 10k seats. But that may not profit at msg, can they get to 20k?

I think we'll see Kenny and the Bucks jump this time. The current Bullet Club angle could build up the rest of the stable so they can weather things better when they leave.

Are they not doing the Hall of Fame ceremony at MSG? I think it was there the last time they had Mania in New York. They ran a big house show there a week or two before, as well.
There was a story within the past month or so about the WWE pressuring MSG not to book some wrestling company for a show. Maybe it was this one, can't remember. Perhaps there were some legal threats behind the scenes that made WWE ease up and realize it's not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. They'll still sell out Wrestlemania the next day and buy Ring of Honor's best talent when the time is right.
