President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Of all the side shows that accompany a Supreme Court nomination, this is one of the silliest. The guy already has a gig that: A) is guaranteed for life; and B) provides for a pension that’ll put him at or near the two-percenter level.

And saying (or implying) “he’d be a better justice if he understood business” is just stupid.

 

Trump signs Warsaw Pact, says he got a great deal from Russia. First 6 months free and only had to sign a 5 year contract.

 

Incurring a minimum of $60,ooo in debt for baseball tickets on a federal salary is either bad financial judgement or more likely a bald face lie covering up something more sinister. Nobody spends a quarter of their income on entertainment other than a low IQ entertainer.

 

So Trump bashes everyone because America is paying way more than everyone else on defense spending. Funny how they never call it offense spending.

America puts 4% in and others put in 2% or less. Trump wants America to be even, or close to, the others.

So there are two ways to handle this. The first way is to embarrass them and try to get them to spend more.

The second way, and you can even embarrass them if you like, is to say America will start spending less, say 3% to make it more even. Less taxes, right?

We really seem to be a nation run by defense contractors.

It is quite a shame Trump will not be visiting London because it would be awesome to see Ray Winstone confront him in a pub.

I have a major concern with the Kavanaugh nomination.

No, it’s not the debt, or his beer drinking in college.
