I've been periodically watching Black Mirror, because I think I might want to kill myself if I actually tried to binge that show.

That said, caught Season 3, Episode 4: San Junipero last night. One of the most stirring, beautiful and at the same time, soul crushing episodes of TV I've ever watched. Black Mirror somehow ended an episode on an uplifting note. Wasn't sure that was ever going to happen.

Season 3 had some great episodes. The Waldo Moment is scary how relatable it is and hated in the nation is brilliant.

San Junipero was one I didn't love at first but it grew on me. It really is a great episode.

Was just about to post that. We just got Amazon Prime and I saw it was on there. I think that's got to be my next binge.

"A man must have a code."

    "Oh, no doubt."

That scene where Omar and Bunk first meet, where Omar sits down with Bunk and gives up Bird, then clears a few other murders, is great. I think what he says leads to the Fuck Scene, IIRC. Anyhow, that leads to:

"You went to Edmondson, right? You were a couple of classes ahead of me. You were the first nigga I saw play that sport with a stick, wassit called?"

"Lacrosse, man. I was All-Metro Attack. Prep school boys used to pee themselves when they see old Bunk comin' at 'em."

    ------------------------

"Say, since you bein' so charitable with your recollection and all, you know anything about any other open murders?"

    "Goin' how far back?"

"As far as you need. Murder stay murder."

GLOW Season 2 is pretty good. Deeper than the first season.

Been binging Vice Principals. I think it's pretty funny. Seems a lot of reviewers thought it was too mean. Just started Season 2, which the consensus is that it gets much funnier.

If you liked Eastbound & Down, you'll like this, as Danny McBride is playing the same type of guy. Walton Goggins is great as the smarmy other vice principal, who totally embraces the meanness.

The scene with Bunk and Omar after the shootout in the street is one of my 2 favorites in the whole series. "Makes me sick, motherfucker, how far we done fell".

My other favorite scene is McNulty and Rawls when Kima is in the hospital.

Sandra Oh's nom surprised me a little. She was good in Killing Eve but not remarkable.

And the "Put it Down" episode of South Park that is up for the Emmy is classic. Absolutely classic.

I don't get the fascination with Tracy Ross Ellis on Black-ish. The moms on other ABC family shows -- The Middle, The Goldbergs and Fresh off the Boat -- are all more deserving nominees to me.
