In re: Judicial experience. NO current member of the Supreme Court has ever appeared in a trial as either counsel for plaintiff/prosecution or the defense. Sotomayor is the only one of the eight to be nine who's ever conducted a trial. O'Connor was the last justice who ever won an election. It's a hothouse body of ideologues selected for political reliability. As such, the Democrats ought to pack the court should they gain the other two branches of government and make it clear the Court is just like the SEC of FCC, an administrative body run by the governing party.
