Really? I heard it was one of the best movies based on a Pepsi Max commercial ever.

    Meh.

I’m holding out for a documentary about Zoom. And only the original, not that SBTB-era reboot crap.

A Quiet Place; phenomenal thriller, one of most original and suspenseful movies I’ve ever seen

I saw Ant-Man & Wasp today with my wife and daughter. We make up a pretty good balance for judging the comic book movies. I've seen them all and I know way too much about the comics. My daughter has seen most of them and actually pays attention to how they all fit together. My wife doesn't really pay attention to all the details, but she appreciates a good action movie and a good comedy.

We all really enjoyed this one. I thought it was every bit as good as Ant-Man. I've heard some criticism of the villain. There was no Thanos or even a Loki, but I thought the villains in this one worked fine. The action works and there are some very funny moments. The supporting cast is likeable and it is certainly more of a light, fun tone than Infinity War.

The mid-credits scene is important. Stick around for that. There is another scene at the end of the credits. Let's just say that it upholds the trend of mid-credits scenes being far better than the ones at the end.

Battle of the Sexes is a heck of a film. Stone is fantastic... maybe better than fantastic.

Just got home from seeing Sorry to Bother You. It's an excellent, strange film, and as a buddy on Facebook warned me, it's not for everyone. It takes some odd turns. But I, literally, laughed in the car on the way home thinking about it.

Super-disappointed the phrase "starring Nic Cage" didn't appear anywhere in the story.

My son texted us that he saw the movie and he enjoyed it and it led to a funny text exchange.

Son: I saw a really good movie today (and goes on to tell us a little bit about it.)

    Wife: Title of movie?

Son: (mistating title): I Hate to Bother You

    Wife: No bother!

Son: Omg lol. That's the name of the movie.
