Man, the posters early in this thread read like a who's who from the late 2000s.

Brings to mind the old Robert Klein line:

"I don't know much, but I do know this: If you see a man wearing sandals and socks, he's gonna have a foreign accent."

Not anymore. Ever been to Missouri?

  8. Based on another thread in which it was agreed Euros dress better than us, shouldnt we be wearing socks and sandals? Sounds like Missouri is ahead of the curve.

I was trying to think of the most "ethnic" Tom Hanks movie. Philadelphia? Not only do his movies typically feature white actors in the top four or five roles, the setting is almost universally white. Big, The Burbs, Sleepless in Seattle, A League of Their Own, Apollo 13, That Thing You Do....

Was listening to Denzel on a podcast today and he said he's never worked with anyone "with an O at the end of their name." Hmmm.....

He worked with Turturro in Pelham 123 and I'm sure a few more in the Spike Lee films he's done

He was talking about the big guns, DeNiro, Pacino, Scorsese, etc. BTW that was his phrase, "Guys with the O at the end of their name", not mine.
