    Hell no. Montreal does not have a long term record of futility.

    The city itself is freaking amazing.

    It's been a while, but Montreal is amazing. It would be a great city to live in, even if you weren't comparing it to Hamilton (which I know only by reputation).
     
  8. Manziel has yet to see the field. Though he's been reunited with the coach who recruited him to A&M, Mike Sherman.

    I've been reading Jonah Keri's book on the Expos. He points out that Montreal was the worst city in North American pro sports for athletes with substance abuse problems, because drugs of all types were so easy to get. There were a lot of users on the '80s Expos teams, and a lot of ex-users who relapsed shortly after arriving in town. That would make me nervous if I were in Manziel's camp.
