This makes her appearance in Luke Cage even funnier

  4. She'll be on The View in six months and making more money in a year than her entire ESPN career.

The real news here is that FS1 finally found a former ESPN employee it won't offer a contract.

Am I the only one confused by the story? At first, it sounds as though she's leaving imminently. Then, later, it's revealed that she has two years left on her contract at ESPN, and she says: "“So much can happen, so many different factors. … I haven’t made a bad career decision yet, and I’ll know when the right opportunity comes my way because it’ll really have to be special to really leave the sweet spot I’m at now at ESPN.”

So, she's sort of daydreaming out loud that one day she will leave ESPN. But it doesn't sound to me like she's leaving tomorrow.

"I know what the article says, but Jemele Hill May or May Not Leave ESPN, Will Not or Maybe Will Kiss Political Ass Depending is such an unwieldy headline!"

She’s trying to call ESPN’s bluff. Didn’t work for Simmons. It won’t work for Jemele

I don't know the mechanics of how this happens, but I would suggest a change of thread title to something like "Jemele Hill says she will leave ESPN at end of contract." The title is misleading for people who don't read through.
