That’s assuming dividends rather than retaining earnings and not distributing the profits. And with different classes of stock with different right the rich and middle class sock holders may be treated differently. Sale of stock except an IPO and shares owned by the company have no direct impact on the company. It’s a sale of stock between 2 entities,, neither of which is the company.
If you want to argue that dividends are taxed twice, fine, decent argument. If you want to say that corporate profits that are not paid out should not be taxable, you are wrong. Companies should be responsive to their shareholders and pass on profits to the owners, even minority owners. But they should have the flexibility to retain profits for growth or a hedge against market imperfections.

How does that chart speak to that? It’s showing corporate taxes as a share of GDP. The overall amount of revenue could have gone up, even if share went down.

Fox News did this and good for them. For News host Lou Dobbs said the exact opposite on the air tonight. Will they call him on the carpet? Or even say, we don't censor out talent, but Lou's way off base here?

You mean when Fox suggested the Annapolis Capital victims may have deserved it if their paper had shown a clear opposition to your dear leader?

No—precisely the opposite. It has nothing to do with dividends.

If profits aren’t distributed, shareholders aren’t taxed
