DeVos rules would cut estimated $13B in student loan relief

 

The student loan relief we most need as a nation is for people to start making better decisions in the first place. The word has been out on these for-profit scams for a while. And even for traditional colleges, we've been telling people that any education -- no matter the price, no matter the resulting debt load -- is a worthwhile "investment in yourself." It's a lie.

Having said that, I have no idea how this change would improve anyone's lives -- except maybe dissuading them from attending those schools in the first place.

 

The market seems to be shaking off the FB drop.

Dow is up another 150 points right now, and is over 25,500.

Plus, Trump and Juncker just agreed that Europe would start buying more soybeans from us.

Good day for farmers. They're going to vote Trump in 2020, and support the GOP in the 2018 midterms.

 

Duh. But, it could have effected the whole market. It didn't.

 

S&P and NASDAQ are both down less than a percentage point.

 

Why would it? The drop on FB was specific to it not meeting projected user numbers.

You sound like you know as much about the stock market as Trump.

 

Trump hasn’t increased median income in his 18 months. He’s the best. Where others failed he is supposed to win. Win bigly. Win yuuuuge. Winning.
