Mission Impossible: Fallout. That was fun.

    Watched the Aquaman trailer...

Marvel is just kicking their asses.

It was good. Worth seeing. A lot less gadgets than usual and more attempts at plot twists. How much longer can the series go?

The cast works very well together. Rebecca Ferguson has been a tremendous addition since Rogue Nation. Hell, she could have a spinoff movie and it'd probably do well.

I really didn't think the series could do much more than Ghost Protocol. But, Rogue Nation was impressive. And now Fallout. They keep getting better. Maybe one more to wrap up the story with whatever his name is? And, there were some callouts on the series, poking fun at itself - 'People actually fall for this stuff' when Walker is talking about the masks and such. Nice. Perfect summer movies.

yeah, this looks ehhh, not the best. Shazam! looks great. Probably because they're taking a page or chapter out of Marvel's book.

I’m not feeling Shazam as well.

  8. I'm with Scout. Saw previews from both and was nonplussed.
Aquaman looked typical DC: lame. Never an Aquaman fan anyhow. I'll take Prince Namor over the DC dude any day.
Shazam! (who I loved as a young kid) might be OK. Not going to the theater to see it, though. I dunno....

I never thought I’d say this but I’m starting to get burned out on the comic book movies/tv shows.

It’s either that or I’m so far behind that catching up feels overwhelming.

Aquaman? Isn't that the shittastic movie that Johnny Drama kept not getting cast in?

I find it deeply embarrassing that I remember Entourage well enough to know this, but no. It was Vince who actually did star in an Aquaman movie and it was a huge hit. Then he flaked and refused to star in the sequel.
