He's not getting rehired. The cast doesn't get to pick the director, and Disney isn't going to let them be pushed into a corner by the cast. They'd scrap the movie before they'd rehire him.

That, liberals want to defend pedophilia jokes, because a "right-wing mob" went after Gunn is too funny.

Yes, please continue to defend pedophilia jokes, MS-13, socialism, etc.

It's a sure fire winning strategy.

You've bitched constantly because your buddy got himself banned from a message board for being an idiot. Surprised you're now in favour of speech police.

You still have no clue about journalism, but you do like to write fiction, specifically fantasy. That announcement isn't going to happen, at least not that way, but you'll keep declaring the whole thing to be over every time some news comes out and it isn't an indictment of President Trump.

Plenty of folks on the left maintain that Comey acted inappropriately before the election, but it doesn't mean everything he has said and done since is wrong. You just tune out the parts of that response that don't fit your favored narrative.

Yay, more tax cuts for the rich!

Trump Administration Mulls a Unilateral Tax Cut for the Rich

The Trump administration is considering bypassing Congress to grant a $100 billion tax cut mainly to the wealthy, a legally tenuous maneuver that would cut capital gains taxation and fulfill a long-held ambition of many investors and conservatives.

Steven Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary, said in an interview on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit meeting in Argentina this month that his department was studying whether it could use its regulatory powers to allow Americans to account for inflation in determining capital gains tax liabilities. The Treasury Department could change the definition of “cost” for calculating capital gains, allowing taxpayers to adjust the initial value of an asset, such as a home or a share of stock, for inflation when it sells. ...

The move would face a near-certain court challenge. It could also reinforce a liberal critique of Republican tax policy at a time when Republicans are struggling to sell middle-class voters on the benefits of the tax cuts that President Trump signed into law late last year.

“At a time when the deficit is out of control, wages are flat and the wealthiest are doing better than ever, to give the top 1 percent another advantage is an outrage and shows the Republicans’ true colors,” said Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the Democratic leader. “Furthermore, Mr. Mnuchin thinks he can do it on his own, but everyone knows this must be done by legislation.”

I agree with your take regarding Disney, but the rest is just your usual foolishness. A small group of people, including the guy's brother, defended their colleague and friend and you want to dump that opinion on all liberals. Also, I don't see them actually defending what he said.
