Sanctions, especially when we lean on our allies to enforce them, work.

Incredible that the previous administration abandoned them, in favor of a deal that flooded Iran with cash -- that they used to fund terror -- and signed a deal that, if allowed to continue, guaranteed the islamic Republic would acquire nuclear weapons.

Their currency is in a death spiral, and protests are increasing.

 

A lot of people were wondering why Baquet wasn't in the meeting. I think it makes sense, though it's a bit odd, since the publisher did agree to the terms, and -- unless I'm mistaken -- his reporters do as well.
