    As was discussed at some point a couple of years ago, "likes to posts" has a fatal flaw:

    Likes didn't start until a few years ago. Therefore, longtime members who amassed tons of posts before likes came aboard will, by default, have a worse likes-to-posts ratio than someone who came aboard much later.

    Back in my day, we didn't have "Likes" or "+ Quote." Hell, we didn't even have usernames - just "Anon 11:25."
