100 best TV episodes of this century

Glad they included a Futurama episode in there, although "The Devils' Hands Are Idle Playthings" was not the best of the series IMO. There were three or four from Season 4 (aired in 2001) that were insanely good and still hold up.

And agree on The Simpsons getting slighted. Hipsters saying it hasn't been funny in 20 years can fuck off. They still do a handful of great episodes every season. Maybe none as memorable as from that 1995-99 run -- if they extended this list back to the last 25 years there would be some episodes that merit top 10 consideration -- but some of the more recent stuff had to be better than the reality series that they included.

Both great episodes, but if you can only include one Breaking Bad episode from the entire series it has to be "Ozymandias." That was the episode the entire series had been building toward, and it delivered. That episode grabs you by the balls and doesn't let go until it's ripped them off and shoved them down your throat. It's rare that a show comes through on its big payoff like that. Frankly, I was surprised it was as low as it was at No. 10. Thought that'd be in the top two or three.

    No Shield is criminal.

At least 20 of the shows here I said to myself “that’s not the best episode of that show....”

    Interesting list.

  8. The reality stuff is bullshit. It really is.
Omitting Band of Brothers, Modern Family, Marvelous Mrs Maisel and Orange is the New Black, James Corden Show?

And How do they not pick the “Jurassic Bark” episode of Futurama?
And “The Contest”is a good, but not sure it is quintessential Seinfeld.

I take it they only picked one episode from each show? (I only skimmed the list)
They were spot on the clickbait though.

The reality stuff is bullshit. Reeks of "there's two sides to every story" ..

I saw that final episode of Survivor and it was idiotic. I havent watched a reality show since.

Seinfeld ended in 1997 or 1998.

I have sweep interest in critiquing reality tv or talk/variety/game shows.

I would have loved to have seen an episode of “Chuck” make the cut.

No "Californication?" No NYPD Blue, the last six seasons of which were in this century? Nothing from "Billions?"

I guess it's an impossible list to compile and include everything.
