I’ve read enough Woodward and read enough about Woodward’s work to know that those who cooperate with him get favorable to very favorable treatment in is work product. Which is why he gets so many to talk to him. Talk to him look? Look good. Don’t talk? Look bad.

Unfortunately, trump’s following is not only not literate, they are anti-literate. They won’t read what he writes. They will disapprove of what he writes, without reading it. And trump will tweet about lying Bob Woodward. One can only hope the 64% of the American electorate that isn’t racist/homophobic/xenophobic/evangelical/right wing will see him as, relatively speaking, an honest reporter.

Yes but at some point he has to know that Trump's provably being in Putin's pocket is an existential crisis for the country...as noted by the stories this week about Russian hacking of electrical grid and campaigns. Not to mention, his illegitimacy has already resulted in the confirming of one illegitimate SCOTUS justice and the nomination of a second.
