Speaking of bribery and corruption in Alabama, this is the same case that I started a thread on. They're just looking at the high end of the chain instead of the actual doers who were on trial. I would note that this article fails to mention the involvement of Luther Strange, who was serving as Alabama Attorney General and interim U.S. Senator at the time this was going on.

Trump seems to think that he can talk to Mueller and persuade him by sheer force of personality. He thinks that Mueller will come out the other side saying "I asked Trump about it and he was extremely strong and powerful in his denial of obstruction of justice" the way Trump does when another strongman lies to him. He's wrong.

He's going to get his ass nailed if he does sit down for a talk with Mueller.

 

NBC said the remains needed DNA testing. They may not know enough about the remains to be able to identify them yet. So it makes no sense to invite families when they don't even know who the remains are.

 

Our electronic intelligence is amazing, but Russia smokes us at human gathered intelligence. They've played the Great Game for centuries.
