We've seen presidents on the stump for other candidates, obviously. But the signage is usually "Vote for Jones: Building a better Podunk" instead of all POTUS, all the time. That's what these rallies are, all about Trump.

And that story about the can's been going around since well before Trump decided to run. Not as legendary as the Neiman-Marcus cookie recipie or Mr. Gorsky getting a hummer, but it's working its way through the ranks.
That's another way Trump gets his hooks into his base. They have know institutional knowledge beyond "Obama/Hillary sucks."

I was a little confused by the title, but apparently Tennessee has “county mayors” as its top elected county executives.

But I like that better than Texas, which calls such executives “county judges” even though the position is completely non-judicial.
