Okay, you made me laugh. When I saw the Red quote Alert, I thought what kind of asshole kind of comment did you make now?

Pleasantly surprised, sir, AND funny. Great job.

    I’ll give you a Like.

What is this Dixie Cup shit? What in the name of Jesus H. Christ are you animals doing in my cafeteria? Why is Private Pyle holding that Styrofoam cup? Why is Private Pyle holding that plastic straw? Why aren't you stomping Private Pyle into the recycling bin?

I am pretty solidly environmental. I hate plastic straws. I haven't used them—and ask for no straw—since I helped with a cleanup of Sydney Harbour when I was, like, 15, and we pulled 40,000 straws out of there. Also I'm a grown-ass man who can drink out of a cup or glass without help.

All that being said, a local restaurant that I like very much recently "went green." They traded their plastic straws for paper ones. I thought I'd try one.

    They are fucking horrendous.

Santa Cruz has been paper straws for a little while and it is always a bit of a shock whenever I order a soda. I don't mind the paper but the texture of the straw always throws me off.
