Let them live a week in Mother Russia. I'm sure they'll love their life over there. They'll be back in a couple days screaming "Hope & Change" and "Down with Trump!"

Much like the way Ragu imagines the mob infested Carrol Gardens of yesteryear, if you keep your head down and are cool with people, mind your business, and don't borrow money from the wrong people, life there is really nice for the vast majority of people who raise families there.

 

For the life of me, I cannot understand the "Russian before Democrat" attitude. Those guys were raised to believe Russia was the enemy, the ultimate threat to our "way of life."

(Yeah, I know the Japanese are now our friends, but World War II was a relatively short-term thing and was mainly about imperialism, not political ideology. The Cold War went on for decades).

 

I accept all same sex couples, except this one

 

They were raised incorrectly in an era of fear and paranoia and overreaction by people who changed the words to the Pledge of Allegiance and the words on our money because of that fear and paranoia. They weren't alone.

 

Those two look exactly like the type to "keep your head down and are cool with people, mind your business and don't borrow money from the wrong people."
