We got a dead tree Sunday delivery of the Epoch Times.
A newspaper for me in the age of Media Bias.

    Anyone else get this?

The single biggest thing on Putin's wish list is the repeal of the Magnitsky act. It really cramped Putin and his friend's finances when it was passed here, it has cost him access to a lot of money that he had stashed. As a retaliation, Putin suspended Russian adoptions to the U.S. In the years since it was passed, Bill Browder has worked tirelessly to get the Magnitsky act passed in a number of countries. Putin would love to see him dead, and has attempted a number of times to get Interpol to arrest him and send him to Russia to face "justice".

Anyway, Natalya Veselnitskaya was involved in lobbying against the Magnitsky Act well before the Trump Tower meeting. "Russian Adoptions" is innocuous sounding, but the main subject was always relief from the MA. The unanswered question is whether there was a quid pro quo offered and what the terms were.

The heart of the matter is that whether the Trump reps made a deal or not, simply taking the meeting was illegal as hell, and depending on what was discussed may have been treason.

If we're still picturing the average Russian standing in a bread line for two hours every day, it's time to readjust our mental picture.

Really hard to believe the Soviets only had 16 KIA in Vietnam.

I'm on board for all of that. GRRRR. Angry. Seriously, I'm with you.

What does today's tweet change about what we knew or what Trump has admitted to?

It's the first time Trump has contradicted the adoption cover story, and in a way that stuck Don Jr. with responsibility for the meeting. That's the news hook.

What a fucking Dipshit. And anyone who has fpdefended him in the last 30days is not worth responding to. On any level. About any topic.

A friend of mine who's a veteran and a big Trump fan said of LeBron

" Calling the President of the United States a bum is simply not respectful nor is it good role modeling for kids. Every American serviceman's Commander is President Donald Trump. He's the CiC to all the troops who men like LeBron pay lip service to but then run their punky little mouths when given the chance to be a good example."

Is it OK to say to my friend "Fuck you for your service"?

I can't stand Chris Kyle wannebes.
