Great job West Hollywood City Council. You've demonstrated your support for #theresistance.

Now, how about you find some justice for Gemmel Moore.

They could just be sick of having to send the police out every few days when someone takes a pickaxe to it.

You guys are confusing America's political system with America's way of life; I'm guess most of the world enjoy watching our entertainment, cheering for our sports teams, eating from our franchises, and especially using our medicines and our medical techniques...not to mention, most of the world enjoy living in peace knowing that America's military is keeping the bad guys away from their front door.

Don't you just hate it when politicians tell us one thing one month, and something completely opposite the next?

That's about a 1.3 on the Diversion Seismic Scale.

Purely a symbolic vote since the Hollywood stars are located in Los Angeles.

Weird. It's almost like the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the West Hollywood City Council are different organizations.

Not anymore. I think people looked at our culture of diverse entertainment, music, movies, TV and relative teechnological and medicinal advances as examples of our freedom. No one is cheering our sports teams. They wear the gear but without aliginace or rooting interest. “UCLA” gear was huge in Japan in the 70’s and 80’s and it had nothing to do with rooting on the Bruins. It was strictly cultural identification and fashion.

By the end of 2020, at the rate Trump’s America is going, the rest of the world will have complete and utter disdain for America. They wont want to look at movies about America because that will either be nostalgic or a fabrication. America as an economic power is still preeminent in the world. But the gap is closing, especially if theEU gets it shit together. We will be like a plurality leaderrather than majority leader and we are losing real world allies every minute. America as a cultural bastion of freedom and hope for the world is dead. Trump and his fascist supporters killed it. We are just a bunch of gun loving, religious zealots, and lunatics.

    Didn't say they did.

They do like talking about politics at rallies though. Or helping bankroll massive marches to protest gun violence. Or carrying on about it on Twitter. Kind of like Trump used to do. The Twitter part, anyway.

George Clooney could run tomorrow for president on the left, and I'd give him good odds to win the nomination.

They are intertwined. We have a "gun culture" way of life. That extrapolates to our politics and the fact that we drop a bomb somewhere in the world every 12 minutes.

How the rest of the world sees it:
