    I have money I can give, am interested in politics, and if you live in a total blue (or red) state like mine, it's a way of having some skin in the game. I'm not moving to Ohio for six weeks to work for some guy.

    Yeah, this is pretty annoying. And transparent, for all the reasons you said.

    They could even email you today and say, "This is close but we might not pull it off. So let's get ready for the next one so we can be ahead of the game."

    I'm all for Dems fundraising off a race that should never have been close. But do it better than that.

    No more celebrity presidents on either side. At least not without prior government service. Be a mayor, a Rep, a Senator a Governor first.

    There is something to be said about the ability to get something from someone they don't necessarily want to allow you to have. Trump is great about lapping up the forced adulation from his lackeys, he's not so good in dealing with people who have spines.
