Racist/fabulist Kris Kobach is in tight race. Down 1,600 votes with 53% in. Wonder how he'll explain defeat if he loses.

 

I see a lot of people unhappy with how their lives turned out. And they don’t want to take responsibility, but rather blame others for their situation. Just my guess.

You can't keep going back-and-forth indefinitely, or the war will never end. And after the Soviets liberated the first death camps, the die was pretty much cast WRT the role of the world villain. Also, Germany DECLARED WAR on the United States after Pearl Harbor, so that was pretty much that.

Truman wanted the Germans and Soviets to kill as many of EACH OTHER as possible, and he certainly got that.

You are correct to a large degree. But the "mafiocracy" was in large part supported, aided and abetted by Bill Clinton and the USA in the 1990s. The state was plundered by Yeltsin and the oligarchs, who took the wealth, exchanged it for dollars and parked it in America. It resulted in what Prime Minister Dimitry Medvedev calls a "legal nihilism" that plagues the country to this day. And it's that "legal nihilism" that accounts for most of the murders typically blamed on the state.

The Soviet Union needed reform. But not America's shock therapy. It would have been far better served following the model used later by China. Of course, China had the advantage of seeing what happened in Russia and saying, "No fucking way!"

The people of the Soviet Union never wanted it to break up. A March 1991 referendum showed 77.85 percent in favor of preserving the USSR. Yeltsin broke it up anyway.

 

And who did Stalin want killed?
Besides his own Russians, I mean.

 

So, Ohio-12 is too close to call. Balderson will win. And they’ll do it again in November. Kinda silly.

No idea if that’s good or bad for O’Connor. Was he helped by the attention? Or could he ride in on a November wave?

The trends are definitely good for the Dems to flip the House. Enthusiasm is high. And that really matters in the midterms.

One other thing that was mentioned earlier: Ted Cruz is asking Trump to campaign for him? What a total, spineless weasel. After all Trump did to him? That’s truly pathetic.

Cruz will still win, because Texas. But he’s just the worst. Stands for absolutely nothing.

 

We shouldn't even know these Democrats' names, in some of these districts.
It's moments like these when someone like Cruz shows you what kind of man they really are.
