Just to weigh in on the tweet discussion, I see no problem with tweets like this, which give substantive information. They're good for the thread as they provide info to advance the conversation.

Instead, the tweets that baffle me are those that simply give someone else's opinion or snarky comment, and with the "someone else" being someone we've either never (or barely) heard of or who means nothing to us. I mean, if you just wanted to share an opinion, why not instead give your own? Trying to figure out why people like to do that, the best I figure is maybe they think it:

    1) Gives the post a veneer of authority. This ain't just my opinion, this is coming from someone with a bona fide twitter account! and

    2) Insulates the poster from counterargument. If the post is attacked, they've got that built in "I'm not the one who said it" defense.

But, again, tweets like yours are fine by me.

I gotta think there is some neo-nazi group somewhere that Trump can spend some time propping up today.

This is going to come across as a huge surprise to those folks who don't understand how government actually works, and who thought we could elect one of their own to the Presidency ...

But the President is ACTUALLY the chief executive of the United States. He's the head of the Executive Branch. All those unelected bureaucrats? The "Deep State," if you will?

Yeah - he's actually the boss of all those people. ... the vast, vast, vast, vast majority of government employees who are working today.

As for what Trump should be doing today? Maybe he could hold a meeting to see how we're going to finally prosecute Hillary, or prevent Russia from marching off with all our uranium. Either one of those tasks will suffice.

But it's certainly not, "Oh - Congress is out of session? I guess we can take the day off!"

It's funny, because, while you may not agree with it, Trump has already achieved much of his agenda, even while playing golf on a regular basis.

You really believe this, don't you?

Trump has cut taxes, raised tariffs, and let the Heritage Foundation nominate a couple of Supremes. Oh - and we moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. I'm not sure what other pieces of his agenda he's achieved. Maybe you could list those things?

I thought about posting these one by one to make it even harder for you to avoid...but I see the board's getting testy about Tweets.
