Last I heard they had been moved to a secure facility and were under heavy security. Nothing has leaked, so either there is nothing there or they are extremely difficult to gain access to. Someone would have sold to TMZ by now otherwise.

 

It would further deteriorate the cover for the people who know he's a slimy jackass , but want to vote for him because they like his policies. It becomes harder to justify overlooking the obvious when the "N" word is on tape.

I think it would finish him. A lot of his core still wouldn't care, but I think his core is only 15-25% of the country, anyway. He'd lose 20-30% of 35-45% of the country who currently approve of the job he's doing. He would still fill a rally with true believers, but he'd lose enough to be decisively defeated in 2020.

That said, I'd be surprised if I see it on tape. My take on "Trump the racist" is that he's an opportunity racist. The appeal of a billionaire tell-it-like-it-is businessman president is that he or she should have no need for racism. Racism turns people away and costs money. Trump didn't follow that path, though. He's blown the racism dog whistles as a way to solidify his base. I don't think, deep down, he gives a shit about immigration or NFL players or Lebron James. He's playing old white people afraid of their country changing from their Andy Griffith Mayberry fantasy.

I wish you were right, but I'm skeptical, mostly because of my experience with Trump voters. I live around and am family members with many who would be considered Trump's base. I've asked those family members, who are some of the kindest and best people I know by the way, how they can square supporting someone of such poor character. Every time, they will point to everything you would expect - the economy, Gorsuch, healthcare, etc. They don't care what kind of person he is. That isn't why they voted for him. They care about what he is "doing for the country."

They don't like that he's such a sleazeball. They wish he would stop tweeting. They think the "grab them by the pussy" tape was awful. But that lack of character isn't a voting issue for them. For the voting issues they do care about, they are aligned with him.

 

President Trump's credibility is always in question.

Even you aren't this stupid. I'm comparing your claims regarding President Trump's credibility to your claims regarding the credibility of others. He can lie hundreds or thousands of times, depending on which list you use as a reference, and you still stand by him, but suddenly the standard for credibility goes way up for everybody else because you are a ridiculous hypocrite.

You are happy to throw ridiculous shit at the wall and hope it sticks if a Clinton is the subject, but according to you, anybody who dares make any accusation against your hero President Trump must be lying.
