Omarosa continues to be second-referenced like she's one of those single-named European soccer players.

It must have changed at some point, because if you go to Cillizza's timeline, it's still there -- though he acknowledges he was had -- but it shows as the "not" handle.

Trump is the most vindictive and petty SOB I know of. Not only did he refuse to mention McCain's name on what is almost certainly the last piece of legislation he'll ever get passed, but no other speaker did either, for fear of displeasing him.

There are no Republicans left, just Trump's Toadies.

Anyone else seen "Get Me Roger Stone"

It came out just after the inauguration but might be the best thing I've seen about Trump's win and continuing operations.
My two main takeaways. I wonder if Stone pushing Trump to run was another stunt to hurt another candidate and help a client (as he has done before) and just got out of control and who that candidate may have been. Rubio? Cruz? Stone never seems to have any ideology at all - winning and doing whatever it takes to win is all it is about. You have monied interest that only want to win so they can get their way on policies. And activists whose only interest seems to be money, regardless of the consequence of their work.
Do I think Stone inflates his importance? Sure. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Trump candidacy was a trick he was playing on the GOP after being pushed to the margins by the establishment.
Couple of other things - Tucker Carlson seems a hell of a lot more insightful and clear-eyed in this than he does on his show. And when they make the movie of Stone, figure John Slattery is a lock for the part.

I have often mulled who will play whom in the movie, Dan.
That casting call will be a lot of fun.

Kind of a cross-thread to a West Wing discussion, but I don't think you could cast Trump. You'd focus on Kelly, Priebus, Bannon, Conway and Hicks and use actual footage for Trump.

The president did, however, boast about creating a new military branch, the Space Force.

“It is not enough to merely have an American presence in space,” Trump told troops at Fort Drum. “We must have American dominance in space.”

Another stupid quote by the master. Any idea of world dominance under Fucko alarms our allies and enemies alike.

I'm not going to sweat it until a bill that looks passable starts moving.

    Dan, I've settled on two:

    Megyn Kelly: Elizabeth Banks
    Michael Cohen: David Schwimmer

She'd have to get skinny to a degree she might not want, but Amy Poehler would be a good Kellyanne. Who would be her subtweeting husband George?
