I didn't realize that "Fuck Your Feelings" qualified as a strongly held religious belief.

 

I don't think that Trump gave two shits about Gorsuch or the Supreme Court. He loves the theater of it, the meetings and the TV coverage.He saw that it was a very valuable bargaining chip with establishment R's. He gave them an ironclad "Get me elected and we'll nominate from your list", and the GOP took that and ran, called it a win. The current nomination is different. Trump cares very much about this one. What worries me is that I have no sense whatever what sort of man Kavanaugh is. What will he say when Trump gets him in a room alone?

 

I think anybody who has ever used that expression or just "fuck" forfeits any claim to have deeply held religious beliefs.

 

I don't think that obscenity in and of itself should weigh quite that hard, particularly if there is sincere repentance.

Me, I'm unrepentant.

 

If somebody talks like that I just can't take their claims about being religious seriously.
