These guys aren't fictional but were fictionalized in a movie.

    1988 Jamaican bobsled team.

Annie Savoy: How I coached minor-leaguers to stardom using sex and wisdom before finding true love with Crash Davis.

    Title needs some work.

Cole Trickle would be pretty fascinating. Did winning the Indy 500 go to his head?

Cole Trickle won Indy? Or are you assuming he switched back to open wheel and had success?

    Plus:
-- fans wondering why Jake Taylor once drove the bullpen cart away from the stadium.
    -- Religion wars
-- The crappy scouting system that once recommended a dead player.
-- the allegations of child abuse on the '89 Yankees involving the Duke.

He took the money he made as a partner in a successful LA law firm as a high priced divorce attorney and invested it wisely.

Loved that book. Had to just toss it in the trash a couple months ago because the pages were literally falling out of it.

The chickens on the field during the Super Bowl still crack me up.

    • Player-manager "Stud" Cantrell shows up late for a key game, but somehow manages to help the team win.
    • Cantrell claims years later that his marriage was the case of Dixie Lee Boxx taking advantage of him as he struggled with post-concussion syndrome.
    • Catcher Joe Brown finds creative ways to overcome racism and play the game he loves.
    • Rookie Jamie Don Weeks is caught up in a sex scandal with a young woman whose parents claim she was a virgin.
    • Tall tales told by aging minor leaguers tell to impress younger players.

How about the rise, fall and quiet redemption of Paul Crewe. (1974 version)

The worst Little League team ever. How come the league commissioners didn't step in and change up teams for competitive balance? Plus, their pitcher was so terrible line drives literally undressed him, and their best player was a dog. How did the league ever allow a dog to play?

    It's a 30 For 30, Charlie Brown.
