One problem with American cars in Europe is that they are wider and harder to park in crowded places, like European parking lots.

Most American cars suffer, perhaps unfairly, that they are of poor quality. I was in Bolivia. Many of the cars were imported as used vehicles from Japan, even though the Japanese drive on the left side. Bolivians were willing to pay the cost of the conversion because they were convinced that American brands were inferior.
