Poor guy just can't catch a break.

 

Frankly, I'm mostly disappointed that the villain in this weird movie we're all living in is so stupid. Nixon, Cheney were men I could hate and respect. Bush was a pre-cursor to this insanity where he could just make up reasons for a war and everybody just kinda shrugged, but Trump skating on all this is so unearned in the rest of the film. If you wrote this presidency as a script, someone would write in red marker across it: "WHY IS THE BIG BAD SO STUPID? WHAT'S MOTIVATING PEOPLE TO KEEP FOLLOWING HIM? CAN'T ANY EMPTY SUIT LOWER TAXES? WHY DOESN'T THIS PENCE CHARACTER STAGE A COUP?"

But then I come to the horrible realization that he's the rodeo clown and we're all staring in the wrong place at what's going on right now.

 

It's the only kind of game theory Trump's reptile mind understands.
Everybody gets pardoned, everybody 'wins' - a feature of that reptile mind.
It's a simple enough sell and even more simply executed. The party is restored, Pence can get to play prophet and Trump can play golf and fuck porn stars (for a fee).

 

Trump is claiming he didn't know about the hush money payments until after the fact. Nevermind the tape of him discussing it beforehand.

 

There's corruption everywhere. If there is evidence Trump should be indicted, then he should be indicted. I'm not going to call for his impeachment because someone who worked for him for 100 days lied about some taxes 15 years ago. If that was the standard, then where was all this hoopla because Hillary's brother and John Podesta's brothers were liars and cheaters?

You know what really pisses me off? We have spent millions of dollars chasing this Russian collusion and the best they can come up with is a guy lied about his taxes many years ago. Meanwhile, we know people like Al Sharpton cheated on his taxes, and Bill Clinton pardoned Marc Rich.

Way to spend my hard earned tax money.

 

Oh, did Mueller release his report today?

 

Bad things happened in the past, so we can ignore different bad things happening now.

 

LOL. Now do Benghazi and Trump’s golf trips where he profits from the office. I want my money back for those things.

Also, you know the investigation isn’t over yet, right? Such an odd talking point.
