The reality is, neither one will, so that's kind of a moot point.

    Fair enough.
Dez may be on a team before Week 1.

Perhaps we will see Baker Mayfield at quarterback for the Browns Week 1 against the Steelers in Cleveland after all. In tonight's preseason game against the Eagles, Tyrod Taylor just went down hard on his left hand and seemed to twist his wrist awkwardly. The Browns took him to the locker room fairly quickly.

The Browns other early first-rounder, Denzel Ward, stayed down with his hand on his back after leading with his head on a tackle. He popped up and walked off, but it really didn't look that different from the hit that temporarily paralyzed Ryan Shazier.

Edit: Looks like I spoke too soon. Taylor is back on the sideline, still wearing his uniform and carrying his helmet.

Do we have any Eagles fans on the board? I'm wondering what the plan is for Wentz. Week 3 of the preseason and he hasn't gotten any game action at all. I ask because Foles looks like crap.

I don't pay much attention (or any, really) to the preseason, but I did see that 5-0 final score and lulz.

Isn't this the third week of pre-season, the so-called "dress rehearsal" where starters get the most playing time?

The Browns really are a different team. There's no way it wasn't the Browns who lost a game 5-0 in years past.

I don't know if they had them last year, but the darker orange on the Browns helmets is much better than the old version.
