Still have to catch Sunday's episode.

  2. I thought the same thing.
I started Season 2 and quit after about 4 episodes.

Season 1 had SO much promise.

some of the courtroom stuff was just silly -- calling the prostitute for no reason for one.

William Hurt's character went from somewhat scenery chewing to an incoherent mess.

I just didn't understand a lot of it and posted that upthread. Somebody came in here and explained it so it made more sense. I've never been a big fan of BBT, his deliberate style is just so aggravating. But since it's filmed in my hometown and I've been to Chez Jay, the pier, the beach, and everywhere else they show, I'm probably hooked.

Better Call Saul wouldn't play last night or this morning. Some sort of coding error:

I watched the finale of "Sharp Objects" with Mrs. OOP last night. I thought it was creepy and well done. There are some changes from the book, but I won't get into that just yet. I will say it is important to watch all through the credits. There are images about halfway through and one at the end of the credits that clarify the ending.

Wifey was pissed about the credits. I was fine with the ambiguity (prior to credits); was intrigued that had never seen that done before.

Westworld popped a scene midway through the end credits at the end of season 2. But yes, it's rarely done in television.

Westworld also had one in the credits at the end of the first season. Maybe HBO is trying to make it a regular thing like it is in the movies now. As it stands, I'm not a fan because it is too easy to miss the scene.

Sadly, that crap isn't going anywhere. It gets people to watch the credits, or come back and view the movie or television show again to catch something they missed.

    Holy fuck.

When you live long enough and watch enough TV, the start of seeing every possible storyline. This fucker went in places I’ve never been before. Beautifully made and wonderfully finished. Hunting as fuck.

I agree for the most part. I found the ending fine. The flashbacks throughout were at times beyond mesmorizing and bordering on uncomfortable.
