So for you guys betting outside of Vegas for the first time, how is the vig?

    -110 for sides?

    6:1 for three game parlays?

Are these new places making juicier lines?

I have a cousin whose (first) wedding -- kind of a rush job -- was on Super Bowl Sunday, however many years back. There were many unhappy people at that wedding.

My dad's side of the family is adamantly Penn State and adamantly JoeBots. My aunt made the paper for holding a giant pro-Paterno sign outside one of the BOT meetings a few years back. My uncle has had season tickets there for 50 years and pays $4,000 annually just for his parking pass.

My degree and allegiances are pretty well-known here.

One of the most exciting parts of the ACC invite was knowing Pitt would get some old rivals back (Miami, Virginia Tech and BC) and also visit some really cool atmospheres like Clemson and Tallahassee. The way the ACC schedule is set currently you visit people in the opposite division every 14 years unless its your designated crossover game. So, when Pitt was penned in to play at Clemson in 2016 we knew it would be over a decade until that road trip showed up on the schedule again.

So of course my cousin - my cousin from a college football obsessed family - schedules her wedding for the weekend of Pitt-Clemson. Took me all of five minutes to make my decision. Got the RSVP card and checked "not going" and sent it back. Given the way that game turned out, I don't think there will ever come a time when I regret the decision. I can see that goofball side of the family every Thanksgiving if I want. I'm not seeing James Conner stiff-arm his way into the end zone and Chris Blewitt kick a game-winning field goal again.

I can almost hear the knock at the door now.
Ms. Something or other dropping by for a surprise visit wearing nothing but a Doug Flutie BC jersey and holding a pepperoni pizza.

I have one ex-wife, two kids and three girlfriends these days. All of them know I’m not to be disturbed Saturday.

This a complete non-sequitur, but this made me think of Kevin Malone.

Seriously - the biggest sports gambling news in decades is gambling opening up nationwide. Any of you participating? What is the vig?

If anyone gives you 10,000 to one on anything, you take it. If John Mellencamp ever wins an Oscar, I am going to be a very rich dude.

The betting talk and results I've seen on here would lead me to believe we have a large homeless population.

I think most people are faking their betting talk.

I will be in AC for my upcoming birthday. Looking forward to the books.
