Scherzer vs. Nola again in Philadelphia tonight. No runs yet with two out in the top of the fourth.

Odubel just changed that even after he looked awful missing on a 2-1 curve.

And remember. The Yankees flipped him for Gleyber Torres. And then got Chapman back.

If the Yankees won a title in the next couple of years, these two trades will be written about in baseball history books for decades to come.

If the vote was today, is it deGrom for Cy Young? I think so.

The greatest offseason any team has had in years seems to be going to waste for the Pirates. They are falling apart, dropping four games below .500 tonight.

Remember when everybody thought trading for Chris Archer was perfect because he would help down the stretch and he had a reasonable contract going forward? He has been terrible with a 6.45 ERA in five starts as a Pirate. The team paid too high a price in talent because they wanted a solid starter with an affordable contract. Sadly, he isn't managing the solid starter part.

And of course, the Mets still couldn't manage a win, at least not tonight.

    I don’t think it’s that close.

I saw that WAR has Nola ahead. I assume it's because he pitches in a bandbox.
