Giants sign Odell Beckham, Jr. to a five-year, $95 million extension. His $65 million guaranteed for a receiver is the most in NFL history.

I know it is a different position, but I wonder if this has any impact on Aaron Donald. Beckham is not the best player in the league at his position. At best, he is third behind Brown and Jones. Donald is the best defensive lineman in the game. Just sayin'.

If the NFL wants two more games - the price should be guaranteed contracts. Simply passing along to the players their share of the added revenue shouldn't be enough given the added risk it puts on the players and their careers.

Some guy named Rodger Sherman posted on twitter that Bridgewater "leaves New York as the greatest Jets quarterback of my lifetime."

Chase Daniel offers that this wasn't Teddy Bridgewater's greatest option.

Third best for me behind Ken O'Brien and that one Vinny Testaverde season. Slightly ahead of Ray Lucas.

I really hate the Raiders-Mack situation. It isn't just not having Mack, but I have to think that other players figure if Mack is getting squeezed by this organization - they have no shot at getting paid what they want either. It could really put a dent on the franchise. Six wins sounds about right.

If Sherman is under 30 the statement is probably true. Who would be better? Ken O'Brien last started for the Jets in 1991.
