Figure App has to go for two and the win right away if the chance presents itself, right?

    Absolutely.

But their end game play was dreadful. Going for that 56 yard FG was awful. It was 4th and 4. Penn St had no TOs left. Essentially a free roll.

Damn. Didn’t have the chance. Great play by the DB.

I would love to know what some of the people predicting Penn State - with Barkley and Moorhead gone - to make the playoff were smoking.

There are very few teams that are going to be stopped cold in today's wide-open offensive era, and Appy State is better than a lot of them. They were going to put up some points. Knew that going in.

If PSU fans should be disappointed by anything, it was that McSorley & Co. didn't match them score for score in the fourth quarter until they absolutely had to.

Michigan's defense is not very good. At all.

So where does Jalen Hurts land?

EDIT: Wait, the Flyin' Hawaiian is down. Hurts may not be going anywhere. (Nah, he's OK.)

Will somebody in the Big Ten Conference rules committee please pass a rule to NOT play Appalachian State

Besides Jim Harbaugh, does anyone consider Jim Harbaugh to be anything more than a pretty good head football coach?

Was hoping Ferentz would break out the white pants in honor of tying Hayden Fry's win total.

I mean, the game was played before Labor Day ... ;)
