So they stole a police van? Right.

I was hoping the sirens meant the arrival of Big Poppa Pump.

    CHEER ROMAN REIGNS DAMMIT!

Glad we've established that Mike Kanelis is a heel. And why is Drew Gulak there?

I hope Rollins is all right and we don't end up with another Goldberg situation. I'm not sure the window of the van was supposed to shatter like that when he hit it. Looked like his forearm was cut up a bit in the final camera shot.

  4. Not a quality Raw tonight.
    1. The Bellas match was a total disaster -- botch after botch after botch. Zero pop.
    2. Did enjoy The Undertaker-HBK promo. Not HBK's best work, but it was The Undertaker's.

Braun kabonged Elias with a bass and threw Owens off a 20-foot cage, but sure they'll help him.

Also makes it clear there aren't many strong faces on Raw: Shield, Finn, Lashley, Roode and a bunch of glorified jobbers. Guess Revival is turning face by default?

Of course, this all leads to Angle leading the charge against Team Corbin, probably at Survivor Series.

OK, I’ll play ... but it ain’t kayfabe.

One Sunday in November 1997, Rick Rude taped a ring promo with DX for the next night’s Monday Night Raw … then flew to where WCW Monday Nitro was going to be live on Monday, signed his new contract and appeared with the nWo on Nitro, cutting a shoot promo on Sean Michaels and Vince McMahon over the Montreal Screwjob.

I saw another comment somewhere pointing out that it was Labor Day, so government offices were closed. Must have been a real dedicated judge to come in on his day off for the arraignment.

I loved that. Even funnier, Rude shaved for the live Nitro while appearing with a beard on the taped Raw.

Anyone else annoyed by the thing where Authors of Pain are just AOP now?

Heck, I'm still bothered by Hunter Hearst Helmsley being Triple H.

I much prefer Trips, though I really like that Shawn and others call him Hunter. :)

This pretty much sums up my feelings, though I'd definitely add Bullet Club. I agree that New Day is more a tag team than a faction, and I kinda look at the Freebirds that way, too, though I guess with Jimmy Garvin, they were more of a faction. Von Erichs fall in that same category, right on the line between tag team and faction. So what makes the difference between a team and a faction? Number of members? Individual titles held? I think that's the big difference between New Day and the rest of the list: They've had plenty of tag belts but no individual titles since they became New Day.
