This. YF, the chess master, thinks that if you trust Woodward's account, then you are trusting the accounts of the rats and weasels who populate the White House. You have to see something good in his sources. What YF can't see is the flip side of that argument: If you don't trust Woodward's account, then you don't trust his sources. Who also happen to be all of this so-called president's men and women. You're essentially admitting that they are not to be trusted or believed. Which is a tough road when you also defend those same people with every second of your miserable day.

 

There's no lack of questioning what Trump says, even from me.

That doesn't bestow some super level of scrutiny avoidance to Woodward, or his anonymous sources.

@Hermes is right. Woodward's books are "truthy". If that's good enough for you, that's great.

But, truthy doesn't equal factual. It doesn't explain his conversation with a near dead Bill Casey.

It's a good thing Bill Casey isn't Beetlejuice, because his name has been said way more than three times here today.

 

Hell, Trump usually says the sky is green and his supporters just say it's alternate facts, green isn't always green, and anyone who points this out just got owned because they were triggered by a lie.
