But they have, repeatedly, when given the chance to hit the voting booth. Remember, it's not just Trump who's unpopular. The Republican party's agenda in Congress is as well. Also, let's not forget, Trump had 46 percent of the vote in the election. He has NEVER had majority support. He filled an inside straight to become President. It's hard to live off inside straights.

Well now we’re in a different zone: Running against the GOP agenda. That’s different in kind than running against Trump, the person.

All he ever had to do was shut the fuck up, hire smart people to execute the agenda and stay out of the way and shut the fuck up while they do so.
He did not do it and cannot do it and will never do it.

The guy can't do the job. I don't know what more proof anyone with a brain needs.
    I can't fly a plane and wouldn't presume I could.

What’s the point of being President if it doesn’t earn you tens of thousands of Tweet likes? It’d be like being Robert Plant in 1973 but no poo-naan.

Reagan isn't everyone's cup of tea and he was not mine either, but he knew how to let people work. I have always admired that above all in a boss.
He didn't achieve so much as he was able to entice others to do shit for him, on his behalf, to make him look good.
That's either ruthlessness or a life skill, but is is not something this president is able to do.

Reagan's life experience before politics was in the highly collaborative process of movie-making, where one of the main points of the exercise is to make the actors look good (in the broadest possible sense of that phrase). It didn't hurt his ego if others in the administration did things for him, because he was comfortable with that process.

    Michael-
This idiot is considered by some to have been a bigger star than Reagan was pre-governorship.
(BTW, he only has movie cameos because he required them if his properties were to be used on shoots).
It's not a far stretch to say the effectiveness Reagan had with the people was a result of being an effective actor.

Uh-ohhhh; that's the death knell if credible (notice didn't say true because that's for only the trier of fact; now the public doesn't care about statute of limitations but they do care about what it really appears to be).
