A little worried the story offers almost zero detail.
If any Tom Dick or Harry can pay to get their record expunged I'd like to think the son of a judge and a future judge could as well.

 

Two officials briefed on the letter’s contents told the New York Times the allegations relate to possible sexual misconduct between Kavanaugh and an unidentified woman when they were both in high school.

To be clear: I’m not saying sexual misconduct committed in HS should not be fair game. It absolutely could be; horrible things can be done in HS.

I just think the context - that it allegedly happened in HS - may be helpful.

I'm just upset he's allowed to sing in public. Great songwriter, one of the best maybe, but his voice sucks donkey balls. I have heard mangled cats sound better.

I'm a huge country fan (the old stuff, not this new pop crap) and I have never liked his voice.

He has a singer-songwriter's voice, but it's not a bad voice. Lot of Texas country twang over a gospel foundation. Have you heard his "Stardust"?

And yes, one hell of a songwriter. Cut it as you wish, he's made tons of good music over the years.
