I made the big mistake of buying one of those big-ass wooden Thomas train whistles.
Try listening to that one at 11 by a laughing toddler, right in your face at 7:15 in the morning after going a few too many beers deep the night before.

 

When my oldest was a toddler, he didn't sleep that much. Instead, he'd wake up at 3 a.m. and want to watch Thomas.

Hearing that original theme song every 20 minutes during the wee hours is worse than waterboarding.

 

Go to your Safe Space, snuggle bear, and go get a huzzah from the other angry toddlers for being pointlessly shitty to one of the best guys on the board.

 

I can't remember which train* gets bricked into the tunnel to punish his vanity, but that is one seriously fucked-up episode of children's programming.

That was some seriously disturbing TV...I am so glad my kids have outgrown the Thomas phase. And Caillou, too, now that I think about it.

 

I have literally heard parents in the schoolyard hope that Caillou's bald because he has cancer, and that means he will die soon.
