    My daughter LOVES Muppet Babies.

    Word of advice: Ms. Piggy is a high-maintenance pain in the ass. Limit watching if your kid takes a liking to her.

    I smoke out very seldom and I talk like Ving Rhames for days.
    The drugs are what fried Whitney Houston's voice.

    Ha, I'll keep that in mind. She's 13 months, so we're not quite to the point of being able to verbalize favorites yet. (She has about 5 words in her vocabulary right now.) We just turn it on for a max of an hour in the morning, when we're still groggy and getting ready. We know when she doesn't like something, though, because she stops paying attention and starts getting into anything else she can get her hands on.

    Now that my daughter is a teen, I make her watch some of the stuff she loved as a toddler. As bad as cailou is/was, there was a show called Max and Ruby that was worse. Max, a boy rabbit, is just a flat out jackass.

    I have been exposed to Max and Ruby, as well. "Ruby ... and her little brother Max."
    It goes to great effort not to depict any adults, showing that kids can resolve certain issues without intervention.
    It's not as big a pain in the ass to me as the others- there's a weirdly relaxing vibe to the incidental music. It's like something out of the '40s.
