Interesting seeing that the price of these games has doubled in 10 years. There was a time when SJ State wasn't a joke in football. Mike McIntyre somehow got them to 11-2 in 2012. They won the Military Bowl. Next best win total is 10-2 in '86 and '87.

Those '86 and '87 teams were heavily dependent on juco transfers. A lot of the rules have changed since then. They went to (and won) the first New Mexico Bowl under Dick Tomey in 2006, but spent the next few years trying to escape APR jail, thanks to the previous AD. Tomey and Tom Brennan managed to right the ship, now the on-field product needs to improve after McIntyre went to Colorado.

I went back and forth on betting this Miami-Toledo game. Whether to do it, considering both sides, almost pulling the trigger on both sides. Finally decided to go a different direction this week and stay away from this one, and I'm glad I did. I don't think Miami is going to blow the victory at this point, but Toledo is keeping it just close enough that sweating out the 10 1/2 point spread is going to be agony and a likely bad beat for either side.

Happy to admit I was wrong about KU-Rutgers. Wondering if it's too get FSU and UNC on the schedule for this year?

As an Oregon alum I'm enjoying the hell out of this.

Troy winning at Nebraska is pretty much Wyoming winning at Tennessee.

Troy won. At Nebraska. And to think he left the juggernaut Central Florida.

Gotta wonder if they’re going to win any games with zero healthy scholarship QBs on the roster.

Nebraska will be fine long-term. Both losses have been close. And as tap said, they don't have a healthy scholarship QB.

Florida State, on the other hand, is a dumpster fire right now. They have a total of four wins over Power 5 teams the last 2 years.

It's got to be a pretty short list of programs to win road games in Baton Rouge and Lincoln in back-to-back years.
