Interesting gambit by the Democrats here. If they "win" this Kavanaugh thing, they will rile up Trumpist voters in close Senate race states. Among the things they have going for them in those races is the possible Trumpist voter apathy.

 

If they met with him, Obama could have claimed that as a victory.

The GOP will do anything to have an extra seat on the Supreme Court, going as far as overlooking a rape allegation for their nominee. If this was a Democrat or a member of any other party, Republicans would raise Hell to pull the nomination and rally the sheep for the numbers. Insanity.

 

I’m surprised they don’t add 2 seats to the court and let trump put judge nap and judge Jeannine on the court

 

I'm amazed that the size of SCOTUS is not set in the Constitution. Just seems like one of those things that should be specified.
