McD's has a special on Big Macs going right now — 2 for $5. The nutrition may be crap, but it's hard to mess up a Big Mac. The steady go-to.

I may or may not have done that for lunch today on the way home from the doctor's office

I’ve had the BigMac made with quarter pounders. You get one free with every ounce of nonmedical marijuana.

Hit a joint after work, grab this deal and you'll be a happy camper.

There's a Jimmy John's near here that delivers. It's a basic sub and a quick lunch when I can't get away from my desk at work.

I, too, love Jimmy John's. There's one near my office. I can't tell you how many sandwiches I've ordered from there on night shifts.

Know what's great after hitting a joint? Not eating.

We just got a Bojangle's about five weeks ago and I think the wife and I have eaten there or gotten takeout four times.

Their roasted chicken bites are phenomenal, as are their biscuits.

There is a Jimmy John's fairly close. I thought it was OK (but I don’t get why the BBQ potato chips are the best I've ever eaten). I saw one of those FB posts that said the owner is a big-game hunter and he's standing over an elephant he killed. I never know if those are photoshopped, a political hit post or otherwise fake.
I still go there occasionally. Jersey Mike's is much better, but the closest one is farther away in a direction I rarely go. I wish they would open a Jersey Mike's closer to home.

We have a Jersey Mike's in the center where our bureau is. It is really good, but it's pricey, so I don't eat there much. Can't get out of there for less than about $10.

I wish to amend this. Over the past few months, the Pei Wei near my office has declined sharply in quality and customer service, to the point I just won't go there anymore. I've been to others nearby that are better, though still down from what they used to be.

The only Jersey Mike's I've had was in a media room pregame, and was very unimpressed. Seemed bland and flavorless.

I'm sure that has to do with the mass production and transport part of it. Need to hit them up.

We had a little regional chain near us called Jet's Pizza (it has since closed) that had deli sandwiches, with the bread being little squares of seasoned pizza crust. They cook the crust, then make the sandwich. It was toasty and crusty and amazing. Good while it lasted.
