Or have Joe in the thing with his "partner" being a mannequin named Wendy.

You'd think he's a spring chicken. Amazing to think he's in his early 40s and the last WCW alum that's full-time in WWE.

Just barely. He’s the guy Vince should have signed instead of signing Marcus Bagwell for his WCW relaunch.

Well, back then A.J. Styles was just a mostly anonymous cruiserweight. Bagwell, for as much as he sucked in the ring, was leaps and bounds the bigger name at the time. A.J. back then was no better than guys like Chuck Palumbo or Jindrak & O'Haire.

It wasn't until A.J.'s years in the indies and TNA that he became the star he is now.

At that time, DDP probably would've been the better guy to feature alongside Booker T in the "new" WCW.

Wasn't Styles was a nobody when he was in WCW? Bagwell obviously was the wrong guy, but at least he had some name recognition at the time.

    This.

I often though that Vince should have brought them the bullet and paid Flair his contract to come in right off the bat to be the leader of the competition.

Plus, they had Booker/Bagwell in Tacoma, Washington, which wasn't exactly prime WCW country.

    Pretty much, yes.

Plus nobody was watching WCW when Styles was there. Nobody would have a clue who he was.

Same could have been said about Bryan in 2000.

Unreal. I know he's killing it in 205, however, I do wonder if he's going to get the call-up to the main roster soon.

Little water cooler talk. Would Hulkmania be as big today as it was in the 80s? Or, they would boo him like they do Cena and Reigns?
