Most everyone on SNL has a "crew" of co-workers or former co-workers they routinely work with. Chase? Can't think of one.

Chevy provides a case study in how to burn one's bridges.

It seems like he at least tried to be a friend to Doug Kenney once upon a time, but it's tough to imagine how somebody who has so much going for him can be so incapable of getting along with anyone for decade after decade.

Shouldn't Chevy have posted his rant here?

About 10 years (?) ago, Chevy Chase came out with a book or a magazine profile in which he revealed his mother had severe mental health issues and abused him in a variety of ways. It seemed at the time to me as something of an explanation/apology for what an asshole he was regarded as and a signal that he was trying to be a better guy. Then he did Community and there were reports of him being an asshole. Oh well.

It's not that difficult if you're (decently) attractive and (decently) funny.
