I posted the thing about the joke about RBG on a conservative message board and not only did people think it was funny, I was called a liberal with no sense of humor

 

Trump is literally their deal with the devil
Kavanaugh and all the culture wars are a big part of that

 

I don't know. "Allies" is capitalized for no reason and has an unnecessary apostrophe.

Wait a sec. I thought he wasn't at the party. Of if he was, she misremembered and it was a different guy. Of if it was him, she consented.

These Republicans can't even get their stupid excuses straight.

 

No, they just did that to fake you out and make you think it was him. Kinda like Jim Bouton misspelling Fred Talbot's name on the prank telegram in Ball Four.

Now hold on just a legume-pickin' minute. It was Dukakis told Iowa farmers to grow more Belgian endive.

 

Because it is the only country that has assholes? Granted, we somehow elected one of our largest assholes president, but you need to stop looking at America through selective keyholes. I'm not saying there isn't work to be done, but it is a long way from "too far gone to save." Your Chicken Little act makes you sound like a psycho.

 

If you look at America like the Holy Roman Empire, like the USSR, it has reached some tipping point, past which it's too far gone. There is too much division, too much inequality, too many sources of resentment and hatred, with a moron president who will leave a broken system only more broken, and not many solutions for any of the serious problems in sight. In fact, those problems are only being exacerbated, as far as I can see, and so many bombs have been set to go off years from now, only ensuring that what it was is not what it will be.

Anyway, let's wait and see. History will prove which one of us is right.

This isn't a fucking footnote. "And yeah, oh, by the way..." Donald Trump is your president. I could rest my case on that fact alone.
